"Lucky!" is my magical girl/mahou shoujo story thing. If you couldn't tell by the gratuitous amounts of rainbow and shoujo sparkles. I'm gonna try to work on not making them so color coordinated, but I'm sure it's too late now. =u=;; Skip this huge bio section if you don't care and are just looking/browsing lol. Don't ask me questions answered below though or I'll flip you off a cliff.
---------------
Ailie, 15, Sophmore - short, timid, scrawny - mistaken for a boy due to hand-me-downs from her brothers - deeply loves said hand-me-downs. <3 - stutters and loses her voice when strangers are too friendly - loves romance novels and doodling - works at the library. best job ever, in her opinion - is extremely good at helping people with relationship problems
Frankie, 17, Junior - Frankie is short/a nickname for Francesca. - "The American Dream Girl" : Gorgeous, rich, popular, good grades, athletic - likes football, bbq, shopping, makeup, vacational sports/resorts - obsessed with goth-punk fashions - despises gold-diggers, greedy people, plastic friends, and not being respected - something of a mastermind under all that eyeliner - doesn't usually get into fights with anyone, for some reason
Quinn, 16, Sophmore - Not the girl next door. Think "crabby old lady across the street" in a teenager's body. - sarcastic, has a problem with cursing, gets in trouble for it plenty - not very lucky; usually puts in more effort than she gets out of things - stubborn, burning resolution to do better - not super popular or friendly, but doesn't care. not a fan of highschool drama or gossip. - actually quite superstictious. NOT afraid of ghosts or the dark. Pansies.
Leigh, 17, Junior - tall, slender, has something of a model's stature - ice cold stare, hence the nickname "Ice Queen" - a proud loner, enjoying the company of teachers over students - probably could make plenty of friends, but doesn't want to. lol - very intellegent, kind of a workaholic, pours most of her time into working or learning new things - prone to frequent migranes in large groups of people, so she avoids them - likes to cook/bake/make herself dinner. It relieves stress :T
Mattie, 18, Senior - Chinese-American, fluently bilingual - tallest of the group, athletic, dedicated to TKD and a fan of other martial arts - likes motorcycles and Vespas, currently 'borrows' the latter from a relative - tends to stay out really late and look painfully suspicious. - breaks into places though. it's for a good reason, I swear. - kind of a miscreant, doesn't like showing up to class - a terrible flirt. uses her boyish name and looks to her advantage sometimes. (I know she doesn't look that Asian here, I'll work on that)

You know, it's really nice to find a magical girl series that doesn't have the generic happy girl, quiet girl, serious girl character line up. You put a lot of thought into making them real and I really like that.
The art is also really good here, I've always loved how you drew eyes and hair. <3 I really must get an iScribble account some day.
(Also, I still love Quinn even if she is the crabby old lady across the street)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.

I like Mattie the best so far c:
Leigh's appearance reminds me of Tyshea's Autumn, but they're unique overall. *hopes that isn't an insult*
Can't wait to read it. =>
(And the "crabby old lady" bit made me laugh. XD)
